I performed a fertility test and I don't need contraception
Because of some medical problems that I had when I was a child, there was a possibility that I couldn't have children, so I wanted to check it discreetly.
My wife does not tolerate contraception pills so I planned to undergo vasectomy. But first, I wanted to check if it made any sense.
The fertility test that a doctor recommended me was sufficient. It came out negative - I have no sperm cells, so I don't have to undergo vasectomy. The procedure is simple, but it's better for me if I don't have to do it.
Obviously, I was later additionally examined, but regardless of the result, I had saved some money thanks to the test. If it had come out positive I would spend the money on vasectomy. Because it was negative, I paid only for the exams to check the cause (which I had guessed anyway) and didn't have to undergo the surgery.
Now I can relieve my wife and change our attitude to contraception.
